HealthWise is an independent UK directory of healthcare clinics. We bring together GP surgeries, dentists, opticians, mental health services, physiotherapists, cosmetic and aesthetic clinics, diagnostic centres, care homes, pharmacies and more — organised by city and by category so you can find the right care near you.
For services in England, we surface each clinic's Care Quality Commission (CQC) rating where one exists, alongside its NHS or private status and the professional registration of the people who work there (for example the GMC for doctors, GDC for dentists, GPhC for pharmacists, GOC for opticians and HCPC for physiotherapists). These are the signals that help you judge a provider, and we link to the official CQC report so you can check the source yourself.

Listing information is compiled from public, authoritative sources including the Care Quality Commission, the NHS, the relevant professional registers, and clinics' own published information. CQC ratings change when a service is re-inspected; we update periodically and always link to the live CQC page. If you spot something out of date or incorrect, please tell us.
